Contests

Contests are planned, not live yet.

A future SNCheck platform will host structured security contests and continuous bounties for Bittensor subnet repositories. This page is a preview so researchers and subnet owners can register interest early.

Why contests matter

Subnet repositories carry real economic weight, and miners run them on machines that may hold wallet material. Structured contests channel researcher attention toward the code that matters most — before issues reach production — and reward responsible disclosure instead of silent exploitation.

Planned contest types

Subnet repo security contests

Planned

Time-boxed reviews of a subnet repository, rewarding well-evidenced security findings.

Miner install safety contests

Planned

Focused on the install and setup path miners actually run — scripts, dependencies, and supply chain.

Incentive integrity contests

Planned

Examine validator/miner logic for ways the incentive mechanism could be gamed or broken.

Continuous bug bounties

Planned

Ongoing rewards for responsibly disclosed issues in participating subnet repositories.

Register early interest

For researchers

Want to be notified when the first subnet security contests open? Tell us your areas of focus and we will reach out as contests go live.

For subnet owners

Interested in running a security contest or bounty for your subnet repository? Register early to help shape how the program works.

In the meantime, the SNCheck CLI is available today and is the foundation the contest platform will build on.
